Stubble Field under Storm

Catalogue note

A panoramic field of gold stubble runs toward low hills beneath an immense sky of dark, rolling storm cloud. Broad vigorous brushwork builds the clouds and the sunlit band of field, and a thin line of trees marks the horizon between them. The extreme horizontal format and the lifted light along the land give the landscape an epic, wide-country drama.
