Turtles in Blue

Catalogue note

Two sea turtles swim upward through brilliant turquoise water, one seen from above and the other angled toward it. The water is worked in small, mottled touches of blue and white that suggest light filtering through depth, with flecks of colour at the top reading as bubbles or surface glint. The image is buoyant and decorative, carried more by the luminosity of the water than by the animals themselves.
