Winter Stream and Tree

Catalogue note

A snow-covered bank and a pale tree are reflected in a still stream beneath a soft pink-grey sky. The snow is laid in thick, dry strokes that catch light, while the water is a smooth mirror of dark reflection. The mood is cold and silent, almost monochrome.
