Valley of Fields

Catalogue note

A deep mountain valley opens onto a patchwork of cultivated fields, with a river threading through and a high snowy ridge above. Greens and ochres of the fields are set against cool blue-grey mountains, giving strong depth. The composition is panoramic and orderly.
