Rings on Water

Catalogue note

A dark mass at the left dissolves toward pale open ground, its surface covered with rings, spirals and circles like bubbles or raindrops. The palette moves between black, slate blue and white, keeping the image almost tonal. The effect is rhythmic and hypnotic, close to abstraction.
