Green Channel and Meadow

Catalogue note

A narrow channel of pale water cuts diagonally through vivid green banks, its surface a mirror for sky and trees. The greens are saturated and the water a cool grey-white, brushed with broad, fluid strokes. The strong diagonal gives the small canvas an energy and depth beyond its modest scale.
