Sunlight slants in pale columns through green-brown water, catching a scatter of small white fish and dark tangles of weed or roots. The handling is atmospheric rather than literal, the light diffused and the forms half-dissolved. It is an intimate, submerged world, tranquil and slightly mysterious.
