Flock at the Water’s Edge

A small flock of sheep grazes across rocky ground, the whitened fleeces catching the light against darker scrub and stone. Behind the animals a grey-blue mass films the whole with a soft, silvery light. The handling is loose and impressionistic, and the animals carry a gentle, pastoral stillness.
