Sheep Through the Dorp

Catalogue note

A flock of sheep is driven along a dirt road through a small town, past a red-railed crossing, with a church spire and mountains rising behind. The scene is lit by a clear, high sky, and the sheep’s pale bodies make a moving chain through the composition. It is a lively, affectionate observation of rural life.
