Winter Stream Reflections

Catalogue note

Bare trees and a snow-laden bank dissolve into the mirrored surface of a winter stream, whose blues and pinks echo a cold sky. Brushwork is loose and fluid and edges are deliberately blurred, so that bank and reflection become one shimmering field. The mood is silent and cold, water acting as a second, inverted landscape.
