Seated Figure Study

A faint, spare figure of a seated woman, her long hair falling into a tracing line, occupies a largely empty sheet. The drawing is tentative and light, the body indicated more than described, with only a soft ochre wash anchoring her seat. Its interest lies in fragility and in the sensuality of an unfinished gesture.
