Broken Water

Pale crests of water break in horizontal bands across a field of dark and light green, the strokes dragged so that the image blurs as if in motion. White passages stand for foam or reflected light and alternate with deep shadowed troughs, and the picture reads as fast-moving, broken water without a fixed viewpoint.
