Surf and Sand

Catalogue note

Seen from directly above, a line of green surf curls onto pale sand, white foam branching across the shallows in a shifting, lace-like pattern. The sea’s colour moves from deep emerald in the upper left to milky turquoise near the shore, and a single dark channel of water snakes toward the right. The bird’s-eye view flattens surf and beach into an almost abstract diagram of water meeting land.
