Owl in the Gallery

Catalogue note

A dreamlike interior tilts around a dense hang of small framed pictures, a pale staircase and a white owl in flight. The blues and blacks of the architecture contrast with warm ochre floors and frames, and the perspective is deliberately unstable. It reads as an allegory of the gallery or of memory.
