Snowy Street in Winter

Catalogue note

A snow-covered street runs between low buildings toward a distant domed roof, with a horse and cart in the foreground. The palette is restrained, buff, grey and white with cool blue shadows, relieved by one warm building at the left. The scene is quiet and documentary.
