Umbrellas in Rain

Catalogue note

Figures with umbrellas hurry through a rain-slicked street, reduced to smeared silhouettes in blue and grey. A single red coat and a yellow lamp hold the eye amid the wet blur, and the reflected light on the pavement is the real subject. The mood is urban, cold and hurried.
