Karoo Flats beneath Blue Peaks

Catalogue note

A pale, hazy sky presses down on layered mountain ranges rendered in muted blues and violets, receding through atmospheric perspective. Foreground scrub and bleached grasses are worked with dry, scumbled strokes, while a pair of slender trees marks the middle distance. The restrained, dusty palette captures the arid heat of a highland plain.
