Scattered crimson and ochre leaves drift across a churning blue-black expanse, framed by a dark, sinuous branch that sweeps in from the left. The palette is jewel-like, cadmium reds set against deep ultramarine, laid on in loose wet strokes. A pair of stamped seals at the upper left lends the composition a calligraphic, almost Japanese quiet.
