Boughs over Snowmelt Creek

Catalogue note

A snow-covered creek threads beneath an overarching tangle of frosted branches, its black water mirroring the pale banks. Loose, gestural brushwork builds the lattice of twigs, while cool blues and warm umbers in the sky ground the chill. The dark tunnel of water draws the eye inward, conveying a hushed winter stillness.
