Karoo Storm

Catalogue note

A wide, letterboxed panorama sets sharp blue peaks beneath a bank of thunderclouds, rain falling in pale sheets at the right. The mountain masses are blocked in with flat, graphic blues, contrasting with the softer, scumbled veld in the foreground. The compression of sky and land gives the scene an epic, brooding scale.
