Bands of peach, rose and pale blue compose a wide tidal flat that edges into a strip of grey water and a low lavender mountain. The paint is scumbled in horizontal sweeps, dissolving detail into pure colour. Restful and spare, the picture reads as a meditation on the meeting of land, water and light.
