Koi in Green Water

Catalogue note

A shoal of red-and-white koi drifts through greenish, sunlit water, their forms bent and softened by the moving surface. The paint is fluid and translucent, catching flashes of white on the fish and shimmering greens in the water. The picture is leisurely and decorative, full of gentle movement.
