Shoal Above Red Pads

Catalogue note

Small silver fish hang in dark water above submerged coppery lily pads, crossed by a few red stems drawn like calligraphy. Deep greens and near-blacks make the pale fish read as points of light. The mood is nocturnal and hushed, the whole image suffused with the mystery of water at depth.
