A vertiginous close-up of water, its caustic light-patterns spreading in turquoise and deep ultramarine across the whole surface. There is no horizon and no subject but the water itself, which is the point: the painting is an exercise in pure colour and optical shimmer. The mood is cool, immersive and almost hypnotic.
