Reflections in Rippled Water

Rippled water breaks a reflection into marbled passages of rust-orange, cream and icy blue, so that the surface reads almost as geology. The brushwork is fluid and interlocking, dark traced lines echoing across the field like veins. Colour and movement carry the entire meaning here, and it is abstraction arrived at honestly, through observation.
