Seen from directly above, a dark teal pool carries scattered yellow leaves, some mirrored, some resting on the surface. Broad, sweeping strokes describe the moving water, while the leaves are picked out in tight, bright marks that read as sunlight caught on their blades. The abstraction of the surface is complete: there is no horizon, only water.
