Red Earth, Teal Sky

Catalogue note

Red earth and low dunes fill the foreground beneath an expanse of turquoise sky and a bank of lilac-edged cloud, with blue mountains receding at the horizon. Warm ochres are set deliberately against cool violets, giving the land a shimmering, heat-hazed quality. The scene feels spacious, arid and unhurried.
