A bank of coastal grass whips seaward in confident, streaking brushwork, while the sea and a bruised sky recede behind it. The foreground is treated as pure movement, pale blades cutting across deep shadow, and the whole surface seems to lean with the wind. The mood is elemental and salt-bitten.
