Working title:
Snow on the Stream
EnquireCatalogue note
A snowbound stream mirrors bare trunks and a pale sky, its dark surface interrupted by submerged red leaves and scattered flecks of falling snow. The palette is deliberately narrow, whites and blue-greys broken by a single insistent red, and the brushwork cool and restrained. Reflection becomes the true subject: the world above restated, inverted and softened, in water.
