Catalogue note

A single white plastic bottle with a red cap floats at the centre of swirling blue water, its form absurdly clear against the painted current. The water itself is treated in bravura loops of white and deep blue, beautiful on its own terms, which sharpens the irony of the intruding object. It is a small, pointed environmental protest disguised as a seascape.
