Silver Fish

Catalogue note

A shallow sea is seen from above, its turquoise surface veined with the white threads of ripples and refracted light. Small dark fish hover beneath, barely more than strokes, while pale patches of sand glow up through the water. The painting turns the surface itself into an all-over pattern of colour and light.
